Hi. My name is Sharon Minard, and I am a certified professional Life and Career Coach, specializing in personal and professional growth. My private practice is located in the Greater Boston area.

 

Formerly, I served as Director of Career Services for Liberty University, the largest non-profit university in the nation. As a Career Director and Counselor, I helped thousands of students realize their natural God-given abilities, talents, skills, interests and personality type; and then directed them into matching and fulfilling careers. I communicated through individual counseling sessions as well as large audience presentations on such topics as: choosing a major, personality and skills evaluations, resumes and cover letters, interview preparation and success in the workplace. I also worked much with alumni that were in the workplace that needed continued direction or were in career transition. I loved seeing lives changed by taking simple but deliberative steps.

 

I now have broadened my focus to professional Life Coaching in order to cultivate change in individuals at a much deeper level. I have a Masters degree in Human Services Counseling and Life Coaching. In addition, I was trained and certified at the Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching by Master Coach Berry Fowler, the founder and former chairman of Sylvan Learning Centers. During my training, Berry taught a proven coaching system that he and his team have used for over thirty years. Further, I have Leadership and Healthcare Coaching training from the Institute of Coaching at Harvard Medical School. 

 

I am a collaborative, holistic, solution-focused Life and Career Coach; looking at your life as an interconnected whole, not just bits and pieces. Through this approach, I provide support and practical feedback to help you effectively address personal life challenges to accelerate you from your present into the future you desire.

 

My integrated coaching techniques (combining the fields of neurobiology, psychology, and life coaching) offer a highly-personalized program tailored to you in order to produce the kind of success you truly desire. With compassion and understanding, I work with you to help build on your strengths and attain the personal growth you are committed to achieving.
